These beautiful leaves, 2cm long are made of fine silver and began life on a hydrangea bush in my gargen in Horseshoe Bay. The slow process of gradually building up layer upon layer of fine silver mixed with an organic binder begins the transformation. The binder and leaves were then burned away in a kiln leaving behind leaves with exquisite detail made of 99.9% pure silver. They hang from handmade 20ga Argentium sterling silver ear wires with a hammered textured detail at the base.

  • Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver and is very resistant to tarnish.  Sterling silver is 92.5% silver and 92.5% copper.  Argentium sterling silver has some of it's copper content replaced with Germanium making it considerably more tarnish resistant than traditional sterling silver.
